Active Ageing Day Support
All groups managed by Fife Day Care Services are provided to relieve social isolation and/or to provide a respite for carers. The following points are a guide for referrers/potential Service Users. Our groups take place at Cedar Avenue Lumphinnans Monday to Friday from 10.00 a.m. – 2.00 p.m. 1. Specialist transport is provided to take clients to & from the group. 2. We provide "Active Ageing" day support groups. Which means that we can accept older people with low to medium support needs 3. The day care groups are for people over the age of 65. Due to high demand for places, anyone absent for more than 8 weeks will lose their place but will be reconsidered for day care at a later date if they so wish. |
Meals & Activities Breakfast of tea/coffee/biscuits Lunch – Two course nutritional lunch Various activities – Bingo, Musical Bingo, Dominoes, Arts & Crafts, Golf Game, Darts, Archery, Chair Basketball, Gardening Activities, Music and Reminiscence |
